Being the son of a lay preacher, Andrew was encouraged to use his musical talents from a very young age, performing with his sisters as his parents would visit small rural chapels and churches in Mid Wales.
Andrew has been leading worship in his local church for over 20 years and has had opportunities to lead worship at events and other churches, including New Wine Wales.
A grade 8 pianist, he studied at London School of Theology where he completed a degree in Music, Theology and Worship and also qualified as Secondary Music Teacher. Andrew has been working as a Music teacher in schools for 15 years and has worked both as a classroom teacher and a peripatetic music teacher teaching a wide range of music including, more recently, the Ukulele!
Andrew finds regular opportunities to perform with local musicians in theatres and music venues, and continues to serve as a musician and worship leader in his local church. He has performed and worked with Sound of Wales on many occasions including performing in the after hours programme at Spring Harvest.
We are delighted that Andrew can join us for the Friday evening programme.
